About Us

While a lot has changed since our practice was first established in 1958, our ethos of providing supportive, compassionate care for our clients and patients remains the same.

​Back then, consultation fees were 50p and water was supplied to our branch surgeries in tins. And we’re not entirely sure where our Kinfauns name originated! But we’re proud of what it stands for. Family-friendly veterinary care delivered by a tight-knit team who prioritise the comfort, health and happiness of your pets because we’re passionate about animals.

​Our main site in Little Clacton is spacious and boasts impressive facilities, including on-site lab, x-ray machine and ultrasound, ensuring quicker diagnosis of any issues your pet may be facing. We also have our branch surgery in Dovercourt, which has facilities for surgery, dental work and hospitalisation.

​Our lovely team has a mixture of nationalities and backgrounds, meaning we have a vibrant atmosphere in practice, great for bouncing ideas around and sharing knowledge.

​We love to help out in our community too, whether that’s caring for wildlife such as hedgehogs and birds, or raising money for charity at local carnivals and fetes. Most of all we’re here to help you and your pet, in any way that we can. We hope to see you soon!
