Little ClactonAnge joined Kinfauns as practice manager in 2019 after a long veterinary nursing career that started in 1982 and has seen her work in mixed practice and lots of management experience. At home she has two border terriers, Mavis and Maisie May, and JB the tortoise – named after Jensen Button in honour of her passion for Formula One. She enjoys walking, skiing, cycling and holidaying in the UK.

Little ClactonDanielle has been with us since 2010, starting as a veterinary nursing assistant and rising through the ranks. She loves the day-to-day variety of the job and interacting with both animals and their owners! Outside work she enjoys walking dogs for people, as well as spending time with her fur babies, Millie the cat and two guinea pigs, Guinness and Ron.

Little ClactonCharlotte joined the team in 2011, originally as a veterinary assistant before climbing through the ranks. She is a clinical coach for our trainee nurses and loves training her students. Outside of work she enjoys horse riding, and is joined at home by her cat Pixie and Mike the Campbell Dwarf Russian hamster.

Little ClactonBec joined the team as a veterinary nursing assistant in 2009, before taking over our reception team in 2020, a new challenge she is really enjoying. At home she has a working cocker spaniel called Effie who is full of beans, as well as a cat who she adopted from work, who enjoys being pampered and chasing the dog!

Little ClactonCaroline joined Kinfauns straight after qualifying as a veterinary nurse from Berkshire College of Agriculture in 1977 and has been with us ever since. She has seen the practice grow, and as a clinical coach has taken pleasure and satisfaction in helping many student nurses to start their careers. Outside work she is interested in genealogy, wildlife and I love walking by the sea.

BVSc MRCVSThaminie is a South African vet who joined the team in 2021. Difficult tasks are often described as being “like pulling teeth”, but not for Thaminie, as she has a great love for dentistry and other surgical procedures. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and playing videogames.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Little ClactonEmma started her career running a pet shop before qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2009 and joining us in 2020. She has a particular interest in exotic species, as well as caring for wildlife. At home she is kept busy by a small menagerie of animals, including resident hedgehogs in her garden. She has placed at Crufts showing her Russian black terrier, Shamen.

Amy graduated from Harper Adams University as a registered veterinary nurse and joined the team in June 2021. At home she is joined by a rescued whippet called Dido, Domino the whippet puppy and Becky her cat. Outside of work Amy enjoys horse riding, long walks with her dogs and loves watching a variety of movies.

Little ClactonBeth joined Kinfauns in 2017 having previously worked in the NHS. She is particularly interested in laboratory tests, anaesthesia, inpatient care and emergency first aid. At home she has a golden retriever called Charlie and some lovely cats. Outside work she loves spending time with family and her animals.

Little ClactonDemi joined the team in 2017 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in April 2022. She enjoys rehabilitating and releasing wildlife that is brought into the practice. At home she has six guinea pigs, seven pigeons, four budgies, African land snails and a bearded dragon. In her spare time she enjoys painting.

Little ClactonDanny was a late starter to the veterinary world, starting his nursing journey in 2018 after working in engineering for over 20 years. At home he has two boys, as well as six dogs, five cats, three rats, 12 chickens, a leopard gecko and many fish! He enjoys relaxing by doing small DIY projects, watching football and eating pizza.

Student Veterinary Nurse
Little ClactonHannah joined us in 2019 and is studying to become a registered veterinary nurse, with a particular interest in exotic animals. She loves working with small furries such as rodents, rabbits and guinea pigs. She has four rats at home who are very well behaved – and even know their own names! She also has four cats that she loves dearly.

Kate is a student veterinary nurse and joined the team in 2022. She has a particular passion for rabbits, and enjoyed learning about anatomy and physiology at college. Her hobbies include drawing and reading, and at home she has a young Labrador named Gibbous and two lovely rabbits called Josephine and Tia.

Student Veterinary Nurse
Hannah Joined us in early 2022 after deciding on a career change. She loves all aspects of her role but has a particular fondness for post operative and inpatient care. Hannah has already achieved her level 2 in Animal Care since being with us and her next goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. At home she has Tink the cat and Bella the dog. Hannah enjoys going on long walks, reading and playing video games.

Veterinary Nursing Assistant
Thomas joined us in 2021 and will soon become a student veterinary nurse. He is a huge lover of rabbits and currently has five of his own as well as a cat, who he rescued and took in on his very first day with us. He also has a particular interest in horses and equine care ,and would like to specialise in this area one day. In his spare time, he is an avid film fanatic and enjoys all things creative such as fashion photography and filmmaking.

Little ClactonClaire, also known as Peanut or Nutsy, has been with the team since 2002 and loves running the dispensary and managing stock control. In her spare time she loves to walk, watch films and look after her menagerie: a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, three tortoises and eight cats!

DovercourtJulia has been a part of the team since 2001 and enjoys that no two days in practice are the same, meeting all of our patients and clients. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, Pippy, and chilling out in her hot tub with her boys.

Receptionist
Bex joined Kinfauns in 2022 after 15 years in retail. Her favourite part of her role is interacting with all the clients and their pets throughout the day but particularly loves all the puppy and kitten cuddles she receives. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and cat Lucifer who is as badly behaved as his name suggests.
